A Haiku - Seriousness
The quality of being earnest and attentive...
Levity has its place, but not often these days.
The frown said it all.
Don't clown at a fancy ball,
It's just out of place.
It has its place and its time.
Laugh when it's over.
Now it's time to think.
You're not sure it will please her.
Ask, if you must now.
Take serious thought
Before you propose to her.
She just might accept!
