This poem was actually written by me as an insert to a birthday card for my boss at the time. We have since become very good friends. I'm close with him and his wife and they are both tremendously proud of my talent. I asked Cecil if he minded if I submitted this in the contest. It turned out well for both of us!

A Message To Mankind

Take heed to Nature’s Harmony.

Nature knows when to flourish, how to Nurture, when to rest.

In Nature, you’ll find God’s Love for Life…

You’ll find the blueprint for Happiness.

Nature knows no prejudice, no conflict, but the way

to a continuous cycle.

God has given us Nature so we may know

the continuous cycle

of Love.

May you always

take time

to become one with Nature…

… You will then

follow the path

to Love.

That was simply lovely my friend and carrying a message that needs to be heard by many. Simple in its structure but deep in its meaning. Well done Sha!

Keep writing and I'll keep following!

Bill, I cannot tell you my friend how precious you've become to me! I've recently learned through your most recent posts that you have so, so much on your plate. To have you be the first to respond is the most phenomenal confirmation of friendship and respect I think I'll ever receive.

Thank you for your trust and your honest to goodness support and friendship!

Lots O Love,

S

All the more reason you should be proud of overcoming your alcohol addiction and all the more reason your person has been made to come forth. We need you, my friend. I thank God every day for having found you. You are the one who helps keep me on the path to my dream!

Shruti, Nature is one of my strongest inspirations. She's beautiful, gentle, majestic and can be very powerful at the same time. I'm glad you see that, too! Enjoy your day!

Sha,

I was meant to read this today, in 2012. I was quite preoccupied in the summer of 1999. You have always been here ... imagine that.

I cherish the message of Mother Earth. Thank you for sharing this in your special way. Voted UP and very Beautiful. Love, Maria

Let's go Maria. Strap on your rose-colored glasses. Let's walk barefooted thru the meadows, wind in our hair and not a care in the world!

Tonight we both need that walk, Sha...

Thinking of you with love, Maria

Sweetheart, we need to make that walk every day of our lives. It's the only way to survive without succumbing to depression or loss of our dreams. I've never taken off my rose-colored glasses. I don't read the news. I don't want to know of the ugliness in the world. I know it's there, but so far, what I don't know hasn't hurt me.

You know more about me than most. I've lived violation and hurt. I refuse to let those experiences knock off my rose-colored glasses. I am and continue to be Bravewarrior!

I believe we have become friends at exactly the right point in our lives.

Thank you for sharing and teaching me a little more each day, dear Sha.

hello,I just wished to write to say how much I've enoyejd reading your site. I am part cherokee on my mother's side and my sister is half blackfoot on her father's side. we are half sisters actually as you can see. but anyways I love anything and everything to do with the Native American culture. I also have a friend who is always looking for new info on this as well and I am having a problem with finding information about her birth totem. Her birthday is September 13 If you could help me I'd be grateful as I say she loves Native American stuff as I do. Also I noticed you do crafts. I do too and am looking for a crochet pattern for a native american girl dress to do for a project I'm working on. If you may have any ideas or could help in any way I'd be grateful. Sorry if I've rambled I take medication due to a serious ailment which has left me bedbound. Thanks again for any and all help!!!!

What a great poem, especially this part: God has given us Nature so we may know the continuous cycle of Love. How true!

Fanni, I apologize for not responding sooner. I just today saw your comment. As far as finding your friend's birth totem, I suggest you Google and see what sites are out there. I'm no authority on the matter. I'm afraid I can't help you with your craft project. You're mistaken - I'm not a crafty person. I simply don't have the patience for it. I'm sure Google can give you many leads on that issue as well.

I'm glad you enjoy my posts. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment!
