A SUPER CELL STORM...by b. Malin

Mother Nature

WHAT WAS THAT!

It was late Friday night, Lover Man and I are watching a Video, when the lights go out...Huh? we both look at each other. "Hey, I say, I think we left the porch windows open and it sounds like it's starting to rain". We both jump up from the couch and race to the porch. Ok, honestly, "I" race to the back porch. My Man WALKS, Lover Man is NOT capable of Running Fast...And that's ok, it's just the way it is...And so this is where my story begins...

We are now both on the back porch closing all ten windows, as the wind is beginning to get louder, and then we start to hear an erie whistling sound. I'm about to close the back door, when I notice the "Jacuzzi's" hot tub lid, is upright. Lover Man notices it too and says, "You stay inside, I'll Bolt it down, there are safety bolts are all 4 sides". Ah, my Hero, my Superman, going out to meet the Challenge, I think to myself, as I open the door for him, as he goes down the 3 steps. OMG, I think, as I watch, it looks like he is FLYING. "Be careful" I yelled through the screen, as now there is lighting Flashing about as well.

He goes behind the Jacuzzi to do the job, and I start screaming, Hurry, HURRY. "I can't Hear You"! he Screams back... as the wind is picking up, this is No Normal Storm I think to myself. Finally he seems to FLY around to the front where he bolts down the other 2 sides and is now safely back inside. Amazingly, we have Power, so we turn on the Weather Channel, which is saying the winds have reached 80 miles per hour in some areas at the Jersey Shore...HELLO, that is US!

Well it's now 3 am, neither of us is sleepy, but still we lay down and kiss Goodnight, then, we Kiss Again, and Again...and before we know it, we are totally into it! It turns out to be a Wonderful Night of the most Satisfying Love Making...The Wind is Hollowing, the Sky is Lighting up with Thunder and Lightning...We seem "Super Charged" like the Storm. And in my mind I can hear that old song by the "Pointer Sisters" singing, "I Love a Man with a Slow Hand, an Easy Touch...One who doesn't come and go in a Rush"...Well you get the picture...And that Folks, is my Lover Man...May he never learn to Run Fast, or do ANYTHING Speedily. So smile Ladies, and always remember that Song, and teach it to your Man, Especially if he's a Fast Runner. After all, you NEVER know when the next "Super Cell Storm" is coming.
