A chess game played

A chess game played
with us as pawns
by the ones unseen
who control us all

Who decide what we
are allowed to know
strategically chosen
which way we go

Lived by those
who own us all
the ones who allow us
to stand or fall

But the game is not
completely done
for the end
has yet to come

An interesting game
this can be
this chess game played
with you and me

For what they did
really not foresee
was a better player
on a winning spree

So let them think
that they can win
a poker strategy
to make them spin

To make them desperate
in their moves
so that in the end
they can only lose

Remind me not to play poker or chess with you, even though I am a pretty darn good player. I hold my cards pretty darn close to my chest. As for Chess the trick is not to lose your Queen she is the power house as are most woman:0) Great play on words here and sends out an interesting message. Now let the games begin, next we will be bringing in the clowns. Rate Up and awesome.

Interesting poem. It can be taken many ways, interpreting what your thoughts convey. It could be a conspiracy theory or even align with myths such as a god of some sort. I am a Chess player, as well as, a Poker player, which I guess allows me to see your poem in many aspects. I voted it up and marked it interesting. :) Thank you for sharing. :)

Dear Cagsil, thank you. And indeed it can be taken in many ways.

Thank you Saddlerider1 and when the time comes I will be sure to remind you not to play poker or chess with me.

I say its time to bring in the clowns and let them play the games.
