A poem, An unbelievable view
When I awoke, I was laying across my bed
Sitting alone on top of a faraway mountain
Looking toward the Heavens in outerspace
I see visions of beauty
Lights glimmering in the distance
A beacon calling me
Me feeling no resistance
As I gently slide into the abyss
I feel joy and start to wish
Twinkle twinkle little star
How I wonder how far away you are?
Then I look and see sparks of lightning
Crack, pop, funny, I'm not afraid
The vision is breath-taking
Clouds swirling, Angels singing a sweet serenade
Veil lifted, eyes' seeing
Gods' Heaven vividly displayed
Then I quietly step back onto the mountains' jagged edge
A shade is slowly closing
As I look and see a rainbow shining on the cliffs' ledge
When I awoke, I was laying across my bed
Remembering the visions as my mind thrust ahead
Was I dreaming? It seemed so very real
I'm in awe. A dream took me away
To feel and reveal
The beauty on the other side
I now feel blissful
And filled with joyful pride
How I journeyed into this venture
I haven't a clue
I can only relate
It was an unbelievable view
