A tidbit Of Trouble.
A Tidbit Of Trouble.
I found a tiny snippet on the kitchen table,
with script in her fine handwriting applied,
it said "I'm leaving for some oth r g y!"
The paper was all blurred from coffee stains,
my heart stood still, my true love now was gone.
I called up all her friends, to no avail,
they said she wasn't there, try so and so.
Depressed I fell in tears upon the couch,
but suddenly the door lock made a noise,
she came in with a bag and a bright smile,
and said,"They had no broth, but I got gravy."
so we'll have turkey, scratch the chicken soup.
