An Article Marketing Explanation

Updated on November 26, 2011

Article Marketing (KISS)

Article marketing is a way to promote your site and it’s absolutely free.  The cool thing when it comes to article marketing is how it can boost everything from traffic to sales

By far articles are one of the best ways to get your site seen.  If people see your site it will mean an increase in traffic.  An increase in traffic in most cases means more sales.

So How Does Article Marketing Work?

It really is quite simple.  All you do is write articles related to your website or blog.  You then submit them to article submission sites.  All this really is easy to do and considering the value it is also well worth doing.

The article you write will have a link to your website.  Once a reader gets to the bottom of the article they will be able to click through.  Another neat thing is if your articles are good enough on many occasions you will find publishers putting them on other websites.

By putting your article on other websites you will be getting a great back link to your site.  Now people visiting this site will see your article and a link.  Can you see how this could go viral?

The more articles you write the more back links you will end up with.  These articles could potentially end up on many different websites which will increase the links back to your site.  Also with more and more incoming links the search engines will start to pay more and more attention.  You will notice your site moving up the rankings of the search engines.

Article marketing could very easily be the most powerful tool in your arsenal.

When it comes to providing products or services article marketing will provide you with a lot of targeted traffic.  Even untargeted visitors on occasion will check out your site.  They may just find that certain thing they were looking for.

Writing a good quality article could mean the difference between a potential buyer clicking through to your site as opposed to someone not even making it to the end and never seeing your link.  If people like what and how you write then on many occasions you will make a sale.

When it comes to the search engines they don’t just find websites.  They will also list the articles you have written.  Can you see how this is becoming viral minute after minute?  People will search for something and eventually your website and articles could be leading the tops of many different searches.

The thing is if you love writing you’re not even putting in that much effort to get people to your website.  You just keep writing and let the other publishers and search engines do the work.

It doesn’t surprise me that website owners are coming back to article marketing.  In fact article marketing is used more than any other promotion out there.

Getting your site to the top really isn’t that hard with articles.  All you need to do is increase links which will in turn increase traffic.  Many people are buying online these days.  For that reason you want to get them to your articles or websites to be sure that’s where they buy from.

The neat thing about article marketing is really in a short time you can be a professional and submit great info to whoever reads it.  In fact it’s important to write good quality stuff and don’t turn your article into a sales page.  Content will have people clicking through for more.  Sales page will have people leaving before they ever see your link.

It really doesn’t take that long to write an article and get it submitted.  You can be working on the next one while the first one starts to do its work.  I guarantee with article marketing you will see more visitors then you already have.

Don’t ever think article marketing is a waste of time. That the traffic will have after writing say 25 quality articles.  All those articles will be working for you the minute they get published

How will you ever know if you don’t write?  Article marketing could very easily be your best source of traffic and income but you have to be willing to put in the time to get the ball rolling.
