"Angels Have Wings"
I don't need you.
I don't breathe you.
You're not a part of me.
For all your lies I've learned,
to cross these bridges burned,
and it sets me free.
I am not a puppet,
to dance upon your string.
I am not a fool to believe,
that angels don't have wings,
And you surely can not fly.
You crawl and squirm on your belly,
like the snake that you are.
You may have bit me once,
but you didn't leave a scar.
Your poison has no affect on me,
for I have a strong heart.
I will rise from the ashes,
while you fall apart.
Now beg for forgiveness,
down on your knees,
Because you're no angel, you see,
Angels have wings.
