Blind Man’s Loss (poem)
Tell me when I became blind
When I left something behind
Something another will find
Another who treats you more kind
Treats you as one who’s not blind
-
Tell me when I lost my sight
When did day turn into night
Turn into his charms’ delight
Charms that I polished so bright
Polished while I still had sight
-
Tell me when I’ll ever see
When will vision set me free
Vision set on what could be
What could future hold for me
Hold for blind man’s hopes to see
