“James Clyde and the Diamonds of Orchestra” is an interesting tale of the young James, an inconspicuous orphaned boy who survives in foster care following the depth of his parents. Infant James grows up in the vast mystery. It is a fast-paced fantasy adventure story of a young orphan boy and his two foster siblings as they are introduced into a magical alternative earth in which they are faced with incredible danger. In fact, it is a great YA book in the literary world. It is embodied in classic fantasy adventure. This tale is full of bosom friendship, betrayal and extreme faith.

Exhilarating and warring actions are available with amazing adventure in this literary piece. In “James Clyde and the Diamonds of Orchestra, the author” Colm McElwain mentions so many literary terms like hyperbole, climax, allusion, anticlimax, metaphor, simile, alliteration, catharsis, catastrophe in order to create an astounding tale for the adventitious readers. Actually, the tone of this fiction is grave and mysterious. It is a mind blowing story which indicates the conflict between good and evil. The main characters James, Ben and Mary are intensively likeable figures. On the other hand, the demon characters also interesting like Gilbert. James is the young king of the fantastical kingdom, Orchestra. His fight against evil is truly remarkable.

In literary and milestone piece maintain the three unities which are time, place and action. So, it is a standard piece in the fictional ground. Colm McElwain has been highly inspired by J. K Rawling, Charles Dickens and C. S Lewis. Even, the plot is organized smoothly and it can be compared to C. S Lewis’ The Lion, The Witches and The Wardrobe. It is very enjoying like Harry Porter series. The literary style of “James Clyde and the Diamonds of Orchestra” is really outstanding. The characters developments, diction, sequence, punctuation, writing follow are really impressive and grand.

In a body, the style of presentation, plot, characterization, sequence, tone, unities, literary term, and theme are tremendously actual and perfect to recommend this novel confidently to the exploratory readers.
