Every given Sunday

Updated on February 10, 2013

I have been going to this church for quite sometime but today i decided to do the preaching so i walked up to the altar and excused the pastor, he delightfully gave me the chance and this was what i preached.

Beloved, what kind of pastor do we even listen to all the time, this man preaches only about money.

"How we have to give to the church so that we will receive back from God."

Yes, blessed is the hand that giveth, i have no problem with that but folks three Sundays back, a young man was standing at the church's gate,we all saw the young man, he was tattered and looked like one who will die the next minute, the pastor saw him but did nothing, it was Chris that salvaged that young man, took him to his house and made sure that he had food, he even went ahead to provide him a place to stay and cloths but when the pastor heard of what Chris did, he said that the money spent on that young man would have been better spent in the church that the young man is nothing but a street kid. I heard that and was marveled..."Is this what God want" No, this pastor must be in sane.

Yesterday, Chuma was evicted from his house, he had his properties thrown out from the house and his seven months old pregnant wife was right under the rain and the only place he knew he would get help was from the church, he then came to this pastor and after explaining his terrible situation to him, he simply asked for a loan to pay for a new place but this pastor told him to go home and pray. Which home? The one he has been evicted from or where? Folks, this church has two furnished bedrooms at the back of the church therefore, i ask once again; "Is sending Chuma away to go and pray what God want?" No, this pastor is mad.

Every given Sunday, it is all about financial growth, we give offering twelve times and during the Wednesday prayer meeting, it is simply about God killing our enemies, why should the prayer point be focused on killing someone?

"God kill him because he betrayed me"
"God destroy him because he did not give me what i need"

Yes it is true that in the Bible, we see facts like "Fight against those who fight against me" But God in this regard doesn't mean that we should pray to hurt someone, rather we should pray for the forgiveness of those who wants to destroy us but anyway, my point is this, the church wants to build a new church and this pastor has been talking of it for ages and we have been contributing money for this project, now if he can send Chuma back to go and pray to God to get money to pay his rent then why did he not pray to the God to get money for the construction of the new church?

Folks, it is high time we think well and know exactly where we are stepping into, where we worship, where we pay our tithes, where we seek for God because as far as i am concerned, "They will come in my name says Christ and "Will do miracles, sighs and wonders but beware so that they do not deceive you".

People open your eyes and ears because there are so many of this kind of pastors making money and stealing from the congregation to enrich their greed. This man standing here who called himself a pastor, has three international passports from three different countries with three different names. He is building a house for Mary, who is Mary to him? He has five cars whereas some of us here walk to the church.
