Fantasy's Uprising

- Jenova -

Dark matter

Seeking a planet

From the furthest

Reaches of despair

Finding its home

Inside the minds

Of fallen men

And one-winged

Angels who walk

The desolate lands

Of creation

And space…

“Tell me what you cherish most…

so I may have the pleasure of taking it away”

- The Embodiment -

Conceptual

Brought to life

Becoming objective

Venomous abstracts

Seeping into

The world

Of material being

You believed

It to be

But only a shadow

And a thought

Of horrors

From the deep

But reality itself

Has been breached

The embodiment

Of death

Your soul

Has reached

- Savior -

A new creation

Formed from dust

Shined upon

By the Gods

Given life

With purpose

Granted power

To overcome

Gifted with

Knowledge

Of the depths

And the heights

Of all things

Wielding both

Shield and book

Truth’s sword

Shall slay

Anew

- Reborn In Their Image -

Eons have

Passed since

The age of men

Fell before

The thrones

Of higher

Principalities

Of darkness

And light

Making way

For the dawn

Of time

Once more

Reborn in

Their image

Oops - it duplicated itself - as though once around were not bad enough. I think this poor laptop is tired. Its operator is - so I'm going to bed and dream of Leonardo da Vinci and Titian. Maybe I can get a sketch done. . .

Well - I suppose I am sort of a Renaissance woman, a regular doyenne, actually. (blush). And in a sense my children were kidnapped. . . - (how am I doing so far? Am I heartless enough or whatever the standard is I need to exemplify?) hehe I cheated too and found out that Sforza's bride may have been Isabella's sister - right? That kind of thing surely runs in the family and they were related to Lucrezia too and there was a bunch of hanky-panky going on. I may have to resign the scenario at this rate. . .

Where do I get the idea that this woman is amazing, Ben? All that, and then she builds a cabin and and and

Regardless, I am so glad you were (or are) Lucrezia Borgia's alter ego. At least she had a heart a, unlike Ridolfo, Giovanni, Cesare and Alexander VI (I can't remember what his name was before he became the Pontiff. Imagine if I had accused you of being the Sforza bride or Isabella D’Este… The one with the children who were kidnapped

Just cheated and looked it up: Rodrigo

Dear Ian - (forgive me, Ben, but I must address his comment!) - -

I hold a degree in Home Economics and did graduate work which provided me with a permanent Texas Secondary Teaching Certifcate. But it was first, marrying instead of taking the position in a Texas school, then LACK of being able to drive till I was 40, as well as being isolated in the country in Indiana where my certification needed additional certification for that state (which I was unable to acquire due to not driving and being committed to my home and family, and there was no computer access anywhere) which set my fate for many years.

By the time that chapter in my life was over 18 years later, I was driving and pursuing my way, I had a mixture of Bridal Consultant work for a year followed by Engineering Department supervision and building design for 7 years, and then 5 years as a Mary Kay Cosmetics Sales Director, then marriage to my George and involvement with my ranch. So, you see, the fast cars started with a '72 VW bug, followed by a Pontiac, followed by a Pink Cadillac, and a Buick, then into SUVs, which I still drive. All that hedonistic lifestyle was only in my wildly imaginative mind. I didn't even drink till I was in my 40s, spent my alone time when not working playing the piano, writing poetry, designing clothes and home decorations, and then building a ranch cabin together with my George, and finally taking care of him when his health began to wane (he was 10 years my senior).

Since we are such friends, and of course I love your humor - I didn't prefer to risk that the impression of a contender for Lucrezia Borgia might become my actual image. After all - YOU have a passionate following who believe whatever you say! haha - tee hee - hehe. (will the whole truth EVER be fully known? Or am I really Lucrezia reincarnated? heh heh. You must wait for the memoirs, I guess. . .

I love your work, too, Ben!! Thank you!

Goth, Nellie, you say all the things that course through my mind, but so beautifully and articulately. I am sure that the world of Education missed out when you made your career choice and went into fashion and fast cars and a hedonistic lifestyle seldom experienced in the Western world since the days of the Borgias. (Ha! Ha!)

These seem to describe ATTACHMENT, as opposed to detachment, the Eastern philosophy of letting go of dependence on things or even ideas, not NEEDING something else to validate what or who one is.

I have houseguests so I can't dig into the videos and games you say are part of what you are expressing here. But I'm sort of glad I don't have time to. I'd much rather read the distillate in your mind and consciousness from whatever your inspirations are, even though I'm sure those things would clarify some of it. But your expressions should not ever NEED to be linked to other information in order to be clear. And to me, these don't NEED those other references. I am partial to the last one, Reborn In Their Image. I can fully visualize who "they" might be and the rebirth in time and space - perhaps on some late-blooming planet which finally cooled down enough and created steam for water and air enough to be habitable & to support LIfe.

Ian - that most certainly will do :D If you had ever had the pleasure of playing Final Fantasy, I assure you, this would have all the more meaning. Thanks a lot man

Uriel - I knew you'd love this :D

Sephiroth, along with many things about Final Fantasy, is chilling to the bone, and completely unforgettable.

Advent Children was a great movie, even though it kind of butchered the game. The graphics and just the fact that it was based on FF7 were enough for me.

You're very welcome! And I miss all this stuff too...more than ANYTHING I could ask for, I would choose a PS2, with ff7-10 brand new, to wrap my mind in once more.

Thanks so much :D

1- i saw sepharoth on ur HP and screamed out of happiness

2- Tell me what you cherish most…

so I may have the pleasure of taking it away

MY favorite quote in life ...sepharoth said that to Cloud i think and that is the only movie for FF that i was able to watch

3- did i ever tell you how much i love you [oki too much but i love the whole idea of FF and the poem as well]

4- you just made my day after a serious Civilization sequence exams filled with homer and Gilgamesh

5- simply amazing :) [talking about the poem] + my favorite character is Sepharoth, he portrays everything i dream about a person [especially the white hair]

Last but not least thank you for bringing a smile on my face this just made my day [and thanks for putting sepharoth GOD i miss him a lot] {sorry for sounding like i lost my mind but i simply adore him}

Do you want a one word critique?

Go on!

Do you?

"MAGNIFICENT!"

Will that do?
