Third millennium BC

Hanna and I are walking by the Euphrates river trying to catch a delicious fish My name is Ibir-sin. My father is a powerful king and I will inherit the throne soon. So this is like a national day for fishing.

Hanna actually jumps deep into the river and plays with them all. My servant slave Zeur smiles and applauds. Hanna comes back to me all soaking wet. My future princess Hinari joins me and throws away a stick that unfortunately hits a rock by the near bank.

Londinium (TODAY LONDON)

65 A.D.

Hanna and me are swimming on the Tamesis river. She is trying to catch the stick I threw away far away from her.

My name is Caso Tulio Marcus and I'm a Roman gladiator was captured by Queen Boudica back in 61. We were trying to return these lands back to the Britonums. Hanna was given to me as a gift from that Queen. Tomorrow l will face death with my comrades who wanted to storm Londinium. Treason means death and they will face it accordingly. Hanna is really scared for me. She still loves it when I rub around her neck my own head.

PARIS, FRANCE

JULY 14, 1789

Hanna and I are following the meek to storm the Bastille or Le Bastille. I'm an ex mercenary that was born in Lyon, my name is Francois Du Peyrou and I'm very fond of my adorable loyal dog. Hanna wouldn't have let me come on my own, and she is resisting the fire of the cannon balls that the Loyalists are firing at us. Today we are taking over the Tulleries Palace and Hanna knows that we fight for Liberty, equality and freedom! C'est la vie!

Normandy - France

OMAHA BEACH

June 6, 1944

Finally, we are invading the shores of Normandy, where Nazi fortifications are inflicting the worst carnage I've ever seen; My friends bodies are ripped apart and fall next to me. Some just cannot say the last goodbye. The bullets and crossfire pass me by and with so much pain I make it to the open coastline.

The stupid breeze dances insensitive over the bloody ocean. My name is Michael Pemberton, United States 3rd Armored Division lieutenant. With much luck I have reached inland and start a fight face to face with this young Hitlerian force Soldier. Unfortunately it was not his day and I managed to kill him. Without doubt was me or him!

He falls on the wet sand and running from far away comes his dog who eventually will be known as Hanna after my Parisian girlfriend, Hanna Claudette.

TODAY

Hanna stays home with Nancy, my wife and I drive every morning to Philly, where I work as a Broadcaster For WTXF FOX 29. Hanna has been with me all these years and she will always be with me. An alliance that lasted more than a lifetime. Every night she knows when I arrive home and sneaks before the entrance door. Her tail always betrays her. I pick her up and embrace her like the companion that never left me alone after an enduring 9 to 5 job.

Oh no!! She forgot to go to the bathroom and thought I was her own tree!

Hanna passed away on March 21, 2013. She will be missed for the rest of our lifetime!
