How Long ....?

How long does one tarry

while waiting in the wings

For all who come seeking

the word of truth without

How long does one ask

the one within the answer

To ascribe the veil asunder

as well as give reply

Questions come and some will go

always giving, given to banter

Or will the person seek the wisdom?

or will the answer seek one out

For It is in the searching

that the quest is made known to us

And in the knowing of the knowing

find we answers and the more

Looking for and looking in

the searcher seeks to be

In the valley with the answers

not at heavens door a knocking

If and when the method is about

that persons methods revealing

Given to the truest form

of visions seeking

While the questions linger on

How long…, how long?

I like your work! Do you take the pictures yourself? I saw that you enjoy photography too. The writing and pics are beautiful :)

Yes, I provide my own photography content; always trying to match the photos to the context. Thanks for the nice comment.

Hi George

I enjoyed your poem.

"How long...,how long?"

I say, "As long as it takes."
