I Put out My Love

I put out my heart on paper

For you to crumple up

I put out my soul in voice

Only for you to turn down the volume

I put out my smile on the canvas of my face

For you to watch it fade

I put out my pain in the form of tears

Only to be hidden and dried like cement

I put out my love like a rushing, warm colorful energy

You put it in a box and try to lock it

But as you are fumbling for the key

You let it escape and it engulfs you and surrounds you

I put out my love and now you return it in full

The End

I liked this Sky. Persistent love can tame more beasts than beauty ever could. =:)
