I am here for you-a poem of comfort
Going Home-Painting by Victor Mavedzenge
I am here for you
Sometimes we forget that loving people surround us. The fact that we have met people in our lives, though they are not physically around at the precise moment you would like them to be does not undermine the fact that they live in our memories and probably us in their memories too. There is no harm in taking a moment to say to someone “I am here for you”. It might seem trivial but in moments of distress, it is these small messages that keep us going. Go on; tell a friend, brother sister, mother, father or whomever you know that…
I am here for you
Do not ever feel alone
Because I am here for you
You may not see me
May not hear me
Not touch me
But I am here
If you call for me in your deepest distress
I will be there for you
If you think of me in these moments
I am there for you
I may not be in your sight
Trust me, I am looking for a path to your heart

This poem is dedicated to..
.. all the people I have met in person, shared a brief moment with, met online and those I am to meet. As indicated by the time, it was written on one of those long lonely nights that slowly merge with the morning. I felt alone and then realized that I do not need to. There are people out there who care. This thought led me to thinking, instead of feeling sorry for myself; why not spread the good vibe of comfort of love to one and all! Take sometime to send a message out there remembering that what goes around, comes around.
Take a moment to spread the message…you will never be alone.
