The "IT" Factor
My name is Daniel Austhof. I am a survivor and a warrior and a man of God. For over a decade my life has been an ongoing test of standing up against the horrors of Sin in this World and standing up to the Demons of the Devil, who seem to have free access to me. The only thing that keep me going is my Faith in Jesus Christ and that His power flows through my veins, making me "Entheos" (N-thay-oce)- meaning "God Within". The other Greek phrase "I am Hoi Eudaimwn" (oy u-dime-win) means "I am the Blessed One"- the name of my book and my motto in life. I'm not sure what took me so long to put 2 and 2 together, but my Biblical, historical counterpart in this defiance against evil is my namesake, Daniel- "Daniel and the Lions Den". We both exhibit the type of defiant, militant, "what should I fear?" type of attitude that I feel is very definitive of Faith. In this piece, I refer to this Faith as "The IT Factor". This Faith, this "IT Factor" is very helpful in battling or at least standing up to the "Lions" in our own lives. It works for me, I'm still here! Most people would have incinerated or fallen to these Lions by now- but DON'T think that I fear the same!!!!

Daniel and I got IT- that "IT Factor"- God given
Strong conviction- strong livin’
Heaven destined- Hell driven
Just because you don’t- dont mean IT’s metaphorical
Just ‘cause its indefinable- don't mean IT's mythological
Just because you can’t- don’t mean that IT’s impossible
Just because you’re in denial don’t mean IT ain’t rhetorical
IT’s glowing from our auras- don’t that make IT un-ignorable?
So don’t worry ‘bout me- you just do you…..
Face your lions- Face your demons
Face your fears- IT’s just believin’
Defy ‘em- stare ‘em in the eye
If you’re a Daniel, IT’s your show of arms

Hater, still I stagger through the valley of the shadow
But Fella still i bellow from the belly of the battle
What? Me fear dying?!- My veins flow with Divine!
A warrior of Jehovah- dontcha’ think that I’ll be fine?!!
And when that bell finally tolls- when it is my time
Jesus Christ, I'm coming home!- all Eternity is mine
But that moment isn't now- still got work to do
What God’s given to me- gotta share with you.......
But all these lions still abound!....how?

O.K…. Even a hater loves a Gladiator
So maybe these lions- Maybe these flames
Maybe these demons- Maybe these pains
Are gifts from my Creator
Like a furnace to my armor, like a flint to my blade
If I flee from my demons or I hide from my lions
I’ll never know how strong,- I’ll never know how sharp….
I'd set limitations on the Greatness I am made
So rile the Hell outta those Lions- Fire the furnace- Raise the heat!
Keep stokin’ the inferno- make that mother f*cker hotter!
Stare them in the eyes- Make those savage b*tches madder!
White flames, blue flames- My Faith with lead me through flames
Lions will devour cowards
Thin skinned will incinerate
But remember that I’m full of IT!
Don’t think that I fear the same!!!!!

Flashing fangs- assassins of Satan
But I stand firm, what should I fear?
I’m full of IT- God's up in here!
Lions don’t kill- it’s the terror when they roar
They ruthlessly rule- never challenged to war
But the fiercest Lion has no more teeth- Than any Daniel has belief
Me? I just grin and stare ‘em in the eye
I make ‘em blush, then make ‘em mine
What lions can’t terrify they gotta admire
I don't even hate ‘em- they are what they are
And why would I kill what I can acquire?
Truth be told- lions are gorgeous, fallen angels- deranged
Tell ‘em they are pretty kitties- call them names, stroke their manes
Tell ‘em you can offer more- woo ‘em, make those pussies yours
So Tell me one more time,
Tell me that I’m full of IT!
I know!!! But who in Hell is messin’ with this clique?!
With Jesus’ power in my veins and the Angels as my allies
With my new harem of lionesses and a couple down demons
With the ring upon my finger and the undead at my beckoning
