A Poem About Love; A Love Like No Other: tobusiness.hubpages.com
A Love Like No Other
Drenched in pain, never thought I'd love again
In a strange new land you welcomed me
A cynic with scars, I no longer believed
With tender love you converted me
When adventure and danger beckoned me on
With your shield of love, you protected me
I was lost and alone, couldn't find my way
You took my hand, and you guided me
When the world became too sad to face
With ready jokes, a smile you evoke to calm me
When my heart grew heavy, with sadness and loss
You were always there beside me
When words were simply not enought
Red roses you showered all over me
A treasure chest of Memories shining through
For twenty-five years you've cherished me
