When all is said and done
Everything is all over
How do you feel ?
Wiped out
Exhausted
Relaxed and so satisfied
Lets think back to an hour ago
How did it happen ?
I wonder if both stories will be the same or drastically different
I came home after a busy day at work
My wife had the day off
While she cooked supper
I hoped in a shower and got all cleaned up
We ate chicken and it wouldn't be long before we would do what most people do
Winding down to a cozy night watching t.v. and if I have any time
I would try writing or reading other peoples stories
Both I love to do
My wife had other plans
As she called out my name
I peeked my head up like a turtle lifting and looking at each direction
There in the bedroom I can see just an outline of her shadow
Her bare flesh sparkling from the light of the little table lamp
I answered her with a smile
Before you know it I dropped my clothes faster than you can say wow
As I moved closer to hold her gently in my arms
Both our bodies meshed as one
Complimenting each other as we always do
Your eyes carefully watching my every move
As my hands roam free
Our three favorite words repeated in so many ways
Each bringing a sense of pleasure to each other with only more to come
That's all I can remember
Now this is my wife's version
It was another rainy Saturday
The month of May coming to a close in just one week
Working hard all month I deserve a break
So I took a personal day
Spent the day helping our neighbors with their yard sale
They are moving soon and are going to be missed so much
After texting my husband on the phone I knew he was heading home
I better get moving so we can both can sit down and have a nice meal together
After exchanging the highs and lows of our day
We both were settling in for the night
Instantly I want my husband who means the world to me
So I surprised him with a naked pose
One that caught his eye rather quickly
With just a little encouragement
The sparks would fly
We both make each other so happy
Lightly teasing and pleasing in the most creative ways
Marriage has it's ups and downs
With the right person
We both can have a strong connection that supports each other
Enjoying a relationship that brings two people together
Through passion and romance
Exploding with a love
That takes a lifetime to explain
