LOVE'S SACRED SOJOURN: FOR GOOD FRIDAY
Love's Sacred Sojourn: For Good Friday
Last silent, yet vibrant dawn,
I awoke with gratitude for Your effulgent love.
As my mind peeped through the dense fog of sleep,
The air felt good to my inspirations;
Yesterday’s sanctity a worthy flicker
In my receptive Soul.
‘Twas then I felt You most, in my aloneness;
Your sweet serenity my only need.
My mind, like clouds in a desert,
Nourished itself in Your embrace;
An intellect of rough seas on the ocean’s bed,
Now an epitome of Your sweetnes-light.
A once radiant heart now sparkled anew,
Its layers of turbulence, offered
In pranams at the feet of Thy sanctuary.
A Meditation
A Day for Sweet Reflections
Are all Sacred Days Meaningful to You?
Love's Sacred Sojourn (cont'd)
O Beauty unparalleled,
I see Your bright flames,
Even in my precipice of desire.
As the soothing stroke of your delicate fingers,
Reach deep into my bosom,
It rents asunder my garment of tainted love,
And I swoon in reverie, with a lovers delight.
O Pilot of the Way!
Your need is my fulfilment.
You strip asunder the wires of my tangled journey,’
Thus giving meaning to a purpose for existence,
Without which, I would most assuredly cease to be.
