Let me dance with you again
And remember what was way back when
In the days of a long lost past
When we thought we would always last
Let me hold you close this moon filled night
In my arms you feel so right
As though the years have disappeared
Now that you have appeared
Let me whisper softly in your ear
How glad I am to see you here
How your beauty fills my eyes
Filling my heart with forgotten sighs
Let me gently touch your face
Remembering a forgotten time and place
When everything was truly golden
Before our trust was harshly broken
Let me gaze into your eyes once more
Always been you who I adore
No one else has had my heart
In the years we have been apart
Let me linger here for a while
In the warmth of your carefree smile
Just for a moment I will pretend
That this night will never end
Let me taste the sweetness of your kiss
A long forgotten bliss
That fills my soul with tears
For all the lost years
Let me touch the softness of your skin
As my heart races and my head spin’s
To have you warp your arms tight
Is such a bittersweet delight
