Living Life On Hold
There was a man who walked some miles. He brought on tears, brought on the smiles for a cause dear to his heart. A loved had gone, she had to depart.
He missed her so and for a season, began to ponder what was the reason. He wanted desperately to reach her. She was his finest most beloved teacher.
She showed him the beauty of the land. Held his world within her hands. Taught him his history so bold in the stories that she told.
So in respect he had cut his hair that had grown so long and fair. Dressed in garb in truth befitting a fine farewell and as he was sitting,
Memories flooded his mind and heart. Saddened they were now apart, he turned to his father his attention giving. For he remained in the land of the living.
He had placed his hopes and dreams on hold. Hopes and dreams that are so bold. His search for love in quiet seeking through people, letters, and poetry leading.
Perhaps soon he can fly unfettered. And with bold bright colors and letters, Share his story with us all. Soon perhaps he will come to call.
But for now he watches and waits. His hopes and dreams he still creates. And when the day comes for him to love, he will fly like the eagles up above.
