Longing for my Angel till Now - A Poem

Months had been past

But my aches never last

What will I do

My heart breaks in two.

There are times I'm still mourning

For I missed my baby He has taken

Sometimes I'm imagining

What if my baby is alive and kicking?

So I can see her smile

That brings joy to my life

And the magic in her eyes

That melts my heart when she cries.

I'm longing for my angel till now

Every time I've seen babies around

It's really hard to recover

From the loss that will last forever.

Very touching indeed. Was this written out of a personal experience?

Yes downpourofwords..I've written this poem to express my pain from the loss of my little girl few months ago. Until now i've been trying to cope and it's really hard. Thanks for reading.

Hauntingly beautiful, my heart breaks for you. I wrote a hub on OC Walk to Remember, am organization that was created to help parents who have lost infants, or babies during pregnancy, to cope with grief and loss, and to help families remember the lives of the littlest angels. I can say from my own experiences with loss, writing helps, so keep writing, I look forward to reading more by you!

Thanks K. Burns for reading..yes you are right, writing helps. Being a childless mother is very hard. Everytime I see my little girl's photo ('coz I wasn't able to see and hold her after birth), I can't help myself but to cry..Thanks again.
