Love goes, That It May Come Again

Cool mornings

pregnant with impending winter

Flowers yield against the night

leaves huddle, in decending mass

Squawking chatter fades with going

the geese know we will meet again.

Cool morning

moment pregnant with good-bye

the cold comes even before she goes

loving whispers fade with going

but, If she does not go

She can not come again

It is the want of coming back

gives birth to longing

and longing, birth to love.

Love endures her going

Love knows we meet again.

Well, if napping produces hubs like that (apart from making you eel pretty, I better nap some more.

I hadn't considered these were the consequence of napping, but, come to think about it, naps always leave me, knowing that we shall meet again.
