Updated on September 19, 2014

Obsession what's it mean

Oxford dictionaries defines Obsession in the following way:

  • the state of being obsessed with someone or something: "she cared for him with a devotion bordering on obsession"
  • an idea or thought that continually preoccupies or intrudes on a person's mind: "he was in the grip of an obsession he was powerless to resist"synonyms:fixation · ruling/consuming passion · passion · mania · idée fixe

With the recent craze over people and their crazy obsessions I thought it was time I came out, about my crazy obsession that is. You see I have been keeping this a secret. No one knows but me for I am really good at hiding it at least I think I am I could be proven wrong. So here goes I’m coming out, with my crazy obsession!

I have an obsession with a very beautiful young woman and if she doesn’t know, this is going to be a very awkward blog and my obsession won’t just be crazy,I will be too. I’m not just obsessed I’m in love with, no infatuated with her. Every morning I see her I get more and more obsessed, it’s been going on for a while.

I am obsessed with ME! That’s right, you heard me! I am obsessed with me, myself and I.

I am so obsessed I care about what I look like. That is why I look in the mirror throw my hair in a sloppy pony tail, put on a work t-shirt, a grungy pair of jeans, my dirty boots, step out in public and go to work that way. The obsession is so bad I don’t cover my imperfections with makeup it’s how much I care about the world not seeing the real me.

I obsess over my figure too. Yep when I go out I like to order a big greasy bacon cheeseburger and sometimes I go for a juicy steak and a buttery baked potato. Late nights are sometimes a rocky road, but I just can’t help it I have a chocolate complex! I care so much about my body I get my 30 minutes of daily exercise well I lift the TV remote during my 30 minute show.

If you ever wondered what can cause writer’s block, I know, it’s my obsession. Okay my obsessions can lead to writer block. You see I also am writing obsessed but not obsessed with finishing my works. I love take an idea and start a good piece but after a time new ideas block the current idea and then I hit a wall and I don’t finish what I started while still being obsessed with writing.

So there you have it I am out. I have spilled the beans, shared my secret. Now you know my crazy obsession!
