My Heart Is Left For One

This is one of my writings that you don't have to proof read

Because you are sound asleep while I feel the uninhibited passion

That goes far beyond the bedroom doors

I have a secret safe filled with all my emotions that you hold the combination to

You can open it at any time

My life is yours for now and my next life too

I make no bones about it

You rock my world

You make me feel stronger than I knew I could be

You give me confidence and the independence that I seek

When it comes to a team effort

We are the dream team

We may not do it right

But we give it one heck of a fight

You have my back covered and I will rub yours till the end of time

When you curse I know it could be much worse

So I try to help you any way I can

In the end we laugh so long our stomachs ache

I am ready willing and able

You say can't it wait

I just laugh and tomorrow it is a date

The two of us get all cozy with our two cats that constantly climb in between

A match made in heaven and when our wings got clipped and we sudden fell

We pulled together knowing no one could hear us yell

So hear we are on earth

To learn what we must have missed

A few mistakes along the way

Trying to make life better than before

I rush to open the door

I will grab the car and bring it around if it is raining

Some people find marriage frustrating and full of complaining

I find our marriage romantic and sweet

It will soon be ten years since we said our vows

We have had more ups than downs

I have been known to clown around and make sad things funny

You have been known to take things to serious and get real mad

You have set off the smoke dectors dozens of times from your cooking not mine

A trouble life we lead

One that starts with a kiss and ends with a hug and sometimes a foot rub

There is nothing I won't do for the love that I have for you

Our bank accounts have dwindled and when our savings started to plunder

We picked ourselves up where we left off and could only wonder

You worked extra hard to make it work

I searched for a sollution to our situation

We now have become closer than close

We know now it isn't money that makes it work

It is our love that comes from each of us caring for each other

That will turn things around

I see hope at the end of the tunnel

You see a train coming our way

You tell me we better move and I have to agree

You see what I didn't see

So we run real fast to save both our assets

That's when we know we are rich

So I lead you on a mystery ride

One that you close your eyes while I go and hide

I hope you come to find me

You might stop along the way and do a little shopping

As I patiently wait

But I know you are coming

I just don't know when

That is one mystery that will keep me guessing

I look at our life in a nutshell

We both have good health and we pay for health insurance for nothing

Just in case our health someday slips away

If that day ever comes I will hold you hand in hand

We will fight what ever problems we face

They haven't seen anything like the bond of two people

Who have to be pulled apart when they kiss

I count my blessings like a number line on the wall

It goes to infinity and beyond

We have bought a home together and have made every insignificant moment count

I know when you have been in the bathroom last

Because I hold an empty roll of toilet tissue in my hand

You know if I have been looking out the window when you come home

You see the curtain moved an inch who would of known

You make homemade waffles that I love

I get the one a day vitamins that you always froget to take

You fall asleep watching the Biggest Looser or Hells Kitchen

I write a hub about life and our love that is everything it should be

It will never be perfect and how boring would that be

Getting everything I ever wanted ,all the time ,whenever where ever possible

Now let me think

It's not about me

it's about you

That is what Valentines Day is about

A love that is irreplacable and never complete

A love that is  icying on any cake

I steal your fluffy slippers because I forgot where I put mine

I am not mr. fix it and when things break and they do

Thanks for super glue and duct tape we can wait a little longer until things have to be fixed right

I will ask my neighbor to help me late one night

We go grocery shopping together and you buy things I never thought we needed

I thought one box of trash bags lasted for years and kleenex too

I gas up the car and you drive when I can't keep my eyes open

You have the gym membership and I come along for the free ride

We go to dinner once and awhile

We share each others meals so we both get two meals out of one

Spoiled I guess when I can have ribs and pasta at the same time

A little of this and a little of that

I don't need a lot to make me happy

I have never drank so many glasses of water in one day

I feel like a water fountain ready to explode

You are right

Water is good for us to drink

I remind you cereal is a mans best friend

It fills the empty void that is below my neck

I sometimes loose my cell phone and my wallet

I make the bed and vacume to make things right again

You get stressed out about work and you worry about people I only know by name

I clean off the car when it is covered by snow and ice

Together we some how some way make things work

You make sure we leave for work on time

I get the mail and pass you all the bills

Like they are already paid

You make sure every day goes smooth and take out all the wrinkes I tried to cover up with the blankets one on top of the other

Like you wouldn't notice

You know my next move before I do

I do the laundry and give you those bumps on your shirt that only I can do

By not hanging them on hangers a certain way

You keep telling me and I keep forgetting

Life is a struggle but I wouldn't have it any other way

With you pulling with one hand and me tugging with the other

We like our country music station and have many of the same favorites

I like to read and you like to sew

I don't know what comes next

I shovel the snow and you text

But what ever we do we make it work

You make sure we get things done

I dream about life on other planets and what if there are aliens ?

You remind me I have nothing they want

You are right again and getting the last word in

I am going to end it here with a Valentine cheer

You put the sparkle in my eye

You put the bounce in my step

Even when I go to fast and almost fall

You pass over all my mistakes and see only one love

That is here for you day or night

Goodnight all lovers everywhere and don't forget your Valentine or you will get an earful and she will be less cheerful

So put her on the top of your list and you might be in for a surprise that is much more than a goodnight kiss
