My eyes see
They open wide and reveal to me
Things that seen not only
Underneath the candle light
But also the morning light
They teach me lessons of
The real world
They don’t believe in dreams
Especially the kind you have
When you fall on sleep
Daily they show me what
The devil looks like
And some day they`ll be able
To show me the face of God
They reveal to me
The shortness of this life I live
And they constantly remind me
That no matter what I do
Good or bad
I`ll always end up underneath the soil
The things they see
Tell me I should live my life
As if tomorrow I’ll take
My last breath
But even if I die today
I no longer care!
My eyes have seen it all
But should God have more to show me
Then let it be
But if he has none
Then I’ll always believe
What my eyes have seen
