Obama's Lament

They say I'm not a citizen being born in Indonesia

But I claim Hawaii or any place to please ya

I won this election and I ain't about the quit

And you ain't never seein' my real birth certificate

 

Yeah I cut my teeth on Chicago-style politics

We'll stab you in the back, just one of many tricks

And now that I am elected to the Presidential Rail

It seems only natural my Senate seat I'd sell

 

Spendin’ all money, don’t have a need to fudge it

Open government checkbook, ain’t got no budget

America’s future isn’t lookin’ so nice or rosy

Thanks to me, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi

 

I don’t want no flags painted on my airplane

I much prefer my own decals and bear no shame

And you can forget me with my hand over my heart

All that patriotism and stuff, I do not choose to be part

 

Don’t come ‘round criticizing my actions again and again

I don’t like damn critics for my skin is kind of thin

And if you persist in it and push me really hard

I’ll get Reverend Jackson to play the race card

 

I got me a chief of staff slippery than a slope

There aren't many things with which he can't cope

He's helped move things along just a little faster

Subscribing to the policy - never waste a good disaster

 

The CIA was sayin’ that I couldn’t shut down Gitmo

Them poor boys down ‘nar ain’t got no where to go

But close it I will, I got me a very good plan

I will free them up to again terrorize this land

 

I finally rammed through Clinton’s health overhauls

Strong-armed it with my comrade Congressional

Though Americans don’t want change from the norm

We now have us comprehensive medical reform

 

The black oil keeps rolling off the ocean floor low

I blame BP’s inability to stem the ghastly flow

We need yet another change from this norm

America needs comprehensive energy reform

 

The illegal ones are coming from the land to the south

I offer no help but to run my promising little mouth

Arizona needs to just quit it and let the man run the show

Give them illegals the amnesty, some welfare, some dough

 

I blame ol' BP for the timing of this oil spill

It works out perfect to pass my Green Energy bill

And if Arizona's immigration law is illegally born

I'll get myself comprehensive immigration reform

 

The war on terror was going way too well in Afghan

We might just win if our forces stuck to that plan

But let’s not be too hasty with conclusions foregone

You haven’t yet read an item in this month’s Rolling Stone

 

Israel and Britain seem a little bit more than upset

You would think that I have hedged on a bet

But their mouths will really fall down to the floor

When I show them the future my plan has in store

 

Community organizer is where I gained my knowledge

Learned the virtues of socialism while in days of college

Brilliant lawyer, former senator, with a Muslim attitude

And in case you haven’t noticed, I think a little shrewd

 

My socialist buddies create controversy and clash

The ones who insist on just one more public Bush bash

And when I find blaming Bush to be at a loss

Well then I try to nail old Dick Cheney to the cross

 

The media loves me except that damn old Fox News

All their little stories just give me the old blues

I’ve made it known clearly that I don’t like their guff

If they got any brains they’ll soon quit all that stuff

 

Everyone agrees that I have made some history

Rising to this office, a young black man like me

But my bubble's been burst and it causes me contention

Tthey say the first black President was really Bill Clinton

 

I went up to Canada where the G20 meet

Everybody was upset, took to rioting in the street

When I said “keep spending” they were all about to choke

They claim that policy is what got them all broke

My public approval rating is in an all time miserable low

Looks like some of voters are more than ready for me to go

But I got two more years yet so they better think twice

I just might turn this place into a socialist paradise
