One Special Day
A Good Time From Beginning To End
Ever have one of those days
That make you smile the whole day through
You couldn't of planned it any better
Everything just fell into place
Where the day was exceptional in many ways
i had to work
For once you felt in the right place
People you work with all seem to cooperate
That in itself is kind of rare
No tension
No problems or glitches to set you back
I have to say it was a marvelous day
Just like a breath of fresh air
Filling up your lungs
What a wonderful feeling
You can not say enough about
In the afternoon you even found some time to read while relaxing in the sun
I call that a two for one
My mind was saturated in new thoughts
Ideas that took me on a new high
Not alcohol or drug related
Really something unique
So sweet
I spend most of my down time thinking of everyone I have loved in my life
That in itself is a job that could take years
As peoples names pop up I think of all the fun times
I keep looking to find a few well placed words that describe
My emotion triggered by happiness
Now this day has reached it's end
So many things have happened and as each leave their influence
I know finally what to do
Bank on it
Where a day like today will come back again and again
