Over the Mountain (a poem of inspiration)
Beyond the valley of all precious grace,
High up over the mountain of hope,
There exists the realm of confidence,
Within our mind's own scope.
As every man, woman, and child,
Does persist in their fine quest,
This life of joy and such a love,
Despite strife, needs, so pressed.
No advice to any who have not stood,
Upon the summit of the good,
May never undo wrongs to make right,
This to remain as understood.
Yet, in building up, their own fond hopes,
May each to find his own certain way,
Done by their own choosing, at last,
As a determination, and then to pray.
In heights above the great mountain's top,
We may soar in blue skies, there untold,
Where every child on God's green earth,
May find a treasure brighter than gold.
This bounty lies hiding inside each of us,
And we may find it there if we all but try.
This sheer resolve, and it to be confirmed,
Our own verification, to come, by and by.
