Peace To All
Enough For Everyone
It is time to understand what brings us close together
Is it our differences that we will never agree ?
The common bond of a friend that we don't see
A relative we can't stand
An arguement we had years ago that we will never forget
Money that you did not give me when I know you have more than enough
Better yet money that I borrowed and still can't find a way to payback
When I got sick and you were never around
Christmas time or a birthday that came and went with a call
I want you to know I believe in a love that survives all
That washes away the tears and the reaccuring pain
I want to be the first to say let it go
I have and so should you
There is still time to hold each other close in our hearts
For what and who we are and that should be enough
We can now reach for a new place
One that was recently found
A place of forgiveness and love
We admit our mistakes and move on
Life is to be remembered for all that is good
Not only what we give but all the good intentions that never make it
So look around you and see the changes you can make
Once you take the first step it becomes easier with time
Your world will change and so will your mind
Life is wonderful because you are here to share it with me
That is all and that is all it can ever be
