Poem about friendship and friendship quotes - Friendship's garden
Friendship quotes
“The most I can do for my friend is simply to be his friend. I have no wealth to bestow on him. If he knows that I am happy in loving him, he will want no other reward. Is not friendship divine in this?” Henry David Thoreau
I have to agree with Henry David Thoreau, friendship is divine, it is a spiritual connect. In friendship I never have to worry about being judged. I am confident that my friend knows me and understands me. My friend understands my every mood and responds to it, can I ask for more?
What is a friend? A single soul dwelling in two bodies. - Aristotle
I know my friend and I appreciate and respect the differences, while we do all we can to help the other we grow together in love and friendship.
The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it's the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone else believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friend. - Ralph Waldo Emerson
In life's long journey I found a friend,
Whose garden overhangs with blooms of every hue,
The brilliant red of love so true,
The perfect rose to celebrate the friendship ever new!!
The tenderness of peaches and milk,
Kindness overflowing in Pink,
The freshness of spring green,
Like a splash from a flowing stream!
Poem about friendship - Friendship's garden
Encouraging words in orange gold,
Silken cords that bind and hold,
Truthfully spoken in pearly whites,
That make up for the heavenly sights!!
Calming blue when arguments arise,
While heated words abound and reasoning flies,
Apologies tendered and gracefully accepted,
Smooth flow the waters of friendship interrupted!!
Forgiveness and compassion in purple bloom,
Graceful togetherness as seasons zoom,
Understanding and patience put out the flames,
Of anger and distrust that momentarily reigns!!
Happy times are here to stay,
As long as I have a friend at bay,
Loud laughter and silly banter continues,
Oh my friend is here to chase out the blues!
On cloudy days which threaten to rain,
My friend sends me some lovely sunshine,
A bunch arrives and puts out the pain,
Soon cheers me up and I am fine again!
What can I do without my friend?
How can I make my way to the end?
The bond of the spirit, so strong as steel,
Life goes on in even keel!
The path to my friends house may be covered with snow,
Warms smiles and hugs await at the door,
The blaze of friendship's fiery hearth,
Shines through the love in my friend's golden heart!!
Oh friendship so rare, gentle and kind,
To celebrate you my heart is inclined,
A joyous ode, a delightful cry,
That my heart can never deny!!
Will get by with a little help from my friends
