Prayer From The Heart

Our most admired Father God, natural Maker, Architect of both Heaven and Earth,

The soul protector, Chief Inspector, of our lives, all that thrives, here, of our worth.

To you, we give daily praise, our Life Ship's captain, as standing before your helm.

We unashamedly to admit, all our sinfulness, our humanity, in this heavenly realm.

Please accept our thanks, oh wonderful creator, for a chance, this finest life,

Protect, so defend our daily existence here, easing our world from all strife.

Remembering how you gave us each, our faiths, from the seeds up above,

Scattered about this blue turning sphere, all creatures, do bask in your love.

As our bodies were formed from the matter, of oceans, every smallest one,

Evolving in your prescribed time, fashioned of a mould, each daughter, son.

Given a mind, understanding, to doubt, our own Father, grandest progenitor,

Then, over time of each life, accepting you, our Almighty Universal Facilitator.

Please forgive us, Father, our sinful ways, send angels to guard us, all our days,

Thank you for blessing us so, this gift of life, of every precious breath we do take,

Your beautiful world, each dawning unfurled, as the banner to tell of such wonder,

We always feel your presence, to make us safe, as all evil erased, to put asunder.
