Promise A Poem About Friendship

A Poem About Friendship

Open your eyes and see inside.
Come walk towards tomorrow with me.
Speak openly as there is nothing to hide.
Friends can listen and help one to see.
Life can be hard and cold.
Lonely moments follow anothers slight.
I promise to be there as life unfolds.
A friend you can depend on to bring you light!

This is a lovely poem and loyal tribute to friendship. I love the second line, this is so inspiring. There is nothing greater than having some one like that to be by your side as you go through life, who is there for you. I am going through this in my life right now. I can so relate. Glad to be a fan of yours Becky Jo. And thanks for the comments you made on my Naked and Born hub. Take care.
