The silence masks the feeling
Of time that is stealing
Our precious moments together
That we must endure whenever
We are apart as we are
A star gazing at a star
Wondering if we really know
From what it is we show
Cascaded by sheets of hope
Soothing the dream of both
While we exist in our separation
Controlling our desperation…
