Is The Twelfth Planet Coming Back?

Updated on July 2, 2012

by Christine B.

Many respected astronomers believe that there is an unknown planet in our solar system. They have named this planet, Planet X. They believe it has an orbit that extends beyond the orbit of Pluto at its furthest point from the sun and that it comes close to Earth on its point closest to the sun.

Astronomers have come to this theory due to the anomalies that have been found in the orbits of Neptune and Uranus. Some unseen gravitational force seems to be pulling at these two planets, causing irregularities in their orbit patterns.

The following news report was published on June 19, 1982 in the New York Times:

“Something out there beyond the furthest reaches of the known solar system is tugging at Uranus and Neptune. A gravitational force keeps perturbing the two giant planets, causing irregularities in their orbits. The force suggests a presence far away and unseen, of a large object, the long-sought Planet X. Astronomers are so certain of this planet's existence that they have already named it ‘Planet X - the 10th Planet.’”

In 1976 Zecharia Stichin published his book, “The Twelfth Planet.” In this and in subsequent books Stichin wrote on the subject he presented translations of ancient Sumerian texts that reported the “true” story of the origins of mankind on planet Earth. The texts are purported to be over 6,000 years old and tell of visitors to Earth they referred to as the Anunnaki. These ancient astronauts came from a planet in our solar system they called Nibiru. This planet has remained undetected by modern science due to its huge elliptical orbit path that takes the planet far out beyond Pluto, which makes its orbital journey 3,600 Earth years to complete. According to Sumerian texts, it was last in Earth’s vicinity in 160 B.C. [B.C.E.]

The major gravitational problems the inner orbital path of Nibiru would have on Earth and the other inner planets of the solar system and the asteroid belt can only be imagined. Also, how could life possibly survive on a planet with an orbit so far from the sun? The planet would have to be frozen solid for most of its orbital journey. Because of these and other questions, most of the scientific Community has rejected the idea.

According to Sumerian text translations, a deposed ruler of the Anunnaki on Nibiru escaped his planet and traveled to Earth about 450,000 years ago. The Anunnaki that came with him soon discovered that Earth had a plethora of gold deposits. Nibiru was in need of gold to protect its diminishing atmosphere. The Anunnaki began to mine Earth's gold; however before too long they began to rebel against the work involved in digging it out of the earth. Their solution to the problem was to create a race of laborers who would work in the mines. The Anunnaki began to genetically manipulate the primates on the planet until they eventually were successful in creating homo sapiens-- us!

After thousands of years on Earth the Anunnaki returned to their home planet…but did they all leave? Perhaps not.

According to some astronomers, the return of Nibiru, (Planet X) might be close at hand. They predict an encounter with the illusive planet sometime between now and 2013. Using IRAS (Infrared Astronomical Satellite) an anomalous body was first discovered in 1983.

An article in The Washington Post reported: “A heavenly body possibly as large as the giant planet Jupiter and possibly so close to Earth that it would be part of this solar system has been found in the direction of the constellation Orion by to orbiting telescope aboard the U.S. infrared astronomical satellite. So mysterious is the object that astronomers do not know if it is a planet, a giant comet, a nearby 'protostar' that never got hot enough to become a star, a distant galaxy so young that it is still in the process of forming its first stars or a galaxy so shrouded in dust that none of the light cast by its stars ever gets through.”

An article posted by MSNBC on October 7, 1999 said: "Two teams of researchers have proposed the existence of an unseen planet or a failed star circling the sun at a distance of more than 2 trillion miles, far beyond the orbits of the nine known planets... Planetary scientist at Britain's Open University, speculates that the object could be a planet larger than Jupiter." And in December, 2000, Space Daily reported on "Another Candidate For 'Planet X' Spotted." ("A Mystery Revolves Around the Sun")

In July, 2001 another article was published in Discovery News, “Large Object discover Orbiting Sun.” The article stated: "The discovery of a large reddish chunk of something orbiting in Pluto's neighborhood has re-ignited the idea that there may be more than nine planets in the solar system." Astronomers named the body: 2001 KX76. They estimated the “planet” to be smaller than our Moon and that it might have an elongated orbit.

In an interview with Art Bell, Father Malachi Martin from the Vatican announced that the Vatican hierarchy and its astronomical staff have been monitoring the approach of a large body they believe will be “of great import” in the coming years.

If there is a Planet X zooming toward Earth the gravitational effects to this planet will be monumental. According to the Sumerian texts, the last time Nibiru came close to Earth it caused the “Great Flood.” Some researchers believe that at one point Nibiru collided with Earth, which created the asteroid belt and the enormous dents in the Earth’s surface that are now covered by our oceans. Other scientists foresee that this great of a gravitational pull might stop the Earth’s normal rotation for three days, which the Bible predicts as “three days of darkness.” Naturally, this event would play havoc with our gravity and cause unimaginable catastrophes.

The scientific community has made no announcements about an approaching planet-sized body. They either have really not detected it as others have; or they have and knowing there’s nothing anyone can do about it, they are covering it up. It wouldn’t be the first cover-up of mass proportions we have experienced, and I’m sure it won’t be the last!
