Steamy Windows
By: Wayne Brown
That guy across the street; what a woman he has got
She waits for him by the door with her motor idling hot
They may lock the door but the curtains never close
But I can’t see a thing through these steamy windows
They were both too young but knew their love was good
With no place to go, they would park out in the wood
And crawling into the backseat into a lovers’naked pose
Knowing that none could see into those steamy windows
She was an older woman but willingly showed her treasures
He was a bit of voyeur; concealed and hidden in his measures
She showers; he peeks, hoping for a sight in the moon glows
But no treasures were in sight with all those steamy windows
The UPS man left his package on the front porch to discover
Inside the packaging the man found his new inflatable lover
In no time he shaped her up and said his “ahs” and “ohs”
But none saw this lover’s tryst with all those steamy windows
It was a seedy little motel; run-down and off-of-the-beat
Away from prying eyes where cheating lovers could meet
And while they danced about in their drunken lover’s limbo
A private-eye tried to get evidence hidden by steamy windows
I met a girl I really wanted to tame; invited her over to my space
Just when I thought she was ready she put me into my place
Told me that she was gay; only women saw her night-clothes
I’ll just hang it up cause we sure ain’t doin’ steamy windows
So if your passions run high and border on coming unconcealed
That pane of glass is offering a peek; your private parts revealed
If you don’t have curtains or blinds to cover your naked torsos
Just pray that your antics create some really steamy windows
