Shades of Gray -- Poem

Shades of Gray

Shades of gray

under a desert moon

the sky lights

across the horizon

dusted with destruction

and settles in the sand

a chemical concoction

bred from greed

and tinged with fear

the air is warm

a simalacrum of the sun

radiates redemption

that never comes

except in condemnation

and war between nations

mutual master
