The Baby That Wouldn't Come Out...
This is probably every pregnant woman's nightmare, yet it might still make a thrilling tale with the right writer under it's wings... Imagine that you're at 40 weeks of pregnancy already. You're exhausted, tired, constantly starving, you can barely walk and you feel like you have an overgrown watermelon in your belly. Your doctor insists that everything is fine, that you're healthy and your baby is doing great.
You're tired of it though and you want this baby to come out, you're more than ready for the little one's birthday to come. You have everything prepared at home, a name picked out and your whole family is waiting for the day...
Your doctor has told you to wait until at least 44 weeks before trying to induce or considering a c-section. So when the day comes that you reach 44 weeks, you're more than ready for it all to be over, when you find out that some mysterious illness overtook your doctor and before he passed, he forgot to put the order in for you to be induced.... It appears the hospital is over run with babies coming left and right and they want you to wait another week if you can. You reluctantly agree but wonder what this world is coming to... What's up with your baby, won't it ever come out?
