Ah, spring...
summer's on the way!
(Ah-ka-Choo!)
Lovely buds
blossoms follow.
(A-Choo!)
Blossoms show;
then pollen appears...wafting on the wind...
(Ah-ka-Choo! Ah-ka-Choo!)
I love the great outdoors,
trees, flowers, meadows...
(KA-Choo! KA-Choo! KA-Choo!)
Yet cursed by
my grandfather's genes... (Ah-ah-ka-Choo!)
I have become a hermit!
The Truth of the Matter
One of my more recent poems, this was written on May 23 of 2010. It still rings true, though I have found some relief with a new medication.
Most of the time, I'm not really a hermit; I do love being outdoors too much to hide inside all day. So, I do venture out, box of tissues not far away.
