What do tears say?

Updated on February 25, 2015

We feel pain.We try to hide our tears.The tears are in our eyes, but with the thought that it will be revealed we try to hide it.This poem shows a conflict going on between the person and his/her tears.We also know that tears can heal us.So, that's what the person's tears are trying to say.

The tears want to escape from his/her eyes .They want to heal her/him.But the person doesn't want to show that he/she is weak in front of others.I somewhere read that crying isn't a sign of weakness, but the person remained strong for too long.The person's eyes are like stars and the tears are called starlight tears.

As I always say, I'm not a poet.But I still hope you'll enjoy reading it.Do comment:)

Why did you cry most?

A person and her tears speaking to each other

She screamed:

“Just stay there!”

But it replied:

“I can’t stop. Let me out of here”

She said:

“I want to remain hidden”

But it argued:

“It’s your fault that now I’m here”

She pleaded:

“Please, can’t you listen to me?”

It said “I’m your starlight tears. If you didn’t want,

Why did you give birth to me?”

She answered:”I made a mistake,

Also let my closer ones down

Felt an excruciating pain

And not later you were born”

Starlight tears sadly said:

“I don’t look ugly and hate to be invisible,

I'm sure you need me;

But still, why do you want to hide me?”

She felt sorry:”Oh starlight tears, you’re beautiful

But I want to hide myself.

I’ll be an open book;

If you show yourself”

Starlight tears felt sorry too

“If you release me you’ll feel less burdened.

I didn’t come here without a reason;

Let me heal your pain. Let me!”

With her twinkling eyes she said;

“Oh! You’re stubborn

But for once I’ll listen to you

It’s my fault that you’re born”

Starlight tears replied;

“I am yours. I will always heal you

I came from your heart. Just believe me!

I was always there and will always be beside you

Now you need to trust me.You really do!!”
