The Censors are Coming-The Censors are Coming

The “N Word” for those who haven’t heard

Isn’t “Nuts” or “Nice” or “Nerd.”

It’s amazing how much trouble its speaker it gives

It’s meaning quite historical not poetic or rhetorical.

It isn’t just pejorative: It’s hist’ry of the way they lived.

They’ve gone and killed old nigger Jim.

Washed off the black then white washed him

African-Americans, Negroes, Coloreds, Blacks it all comes back again.

Forget the name, get through your fear cause this is something bigger!

Semantically separating and generating “Staunch stalwart Jim”

It seems that we’ve castrated him and now we can erase our sins.

And everything was peachy and just fine.

This word evokes a horrid time when people were called ‘yours’ or ‘mine’.

Human souls were sold as chattel a fact that caused this Nation to battle

Itself. Until inside we changed; our moral compass rearranged.

If not for the word that galled us; for that nasty truth that appalled us

Would there ever have been a war?

If slavery was cordial proper and prim and everyone called him “Brother Jim”

Would it really have told the true tale?

Beware of the blade that is “PC” its cut is so shallow we barely see

how it clouds our minds with it’s might.

As a short example I’ll give you a simple sample

Of the PC posse and its magical, mind numbing knife.

We’ve all heard of “B.C.”

And only with the letter “E” innocuous as it might be they obfuscate Christ’s life.

Was he God? Well I don’t care it’s really neither her nor there.

Personally I just don’t like the change.

Imagine everything else that they might rearrange

Millions of believers have ignored that PC cleaver!

Too far from their hearts to make waves.

Without the Yang there is no Yin, no hint of Heaven or of sin.

All is lost if no one can be Saved.

“These aren’t your Droids”, said Obi Wan and the evil threat was blocked.

And so, pedantic, proper, people pry from us our right to shock.

Soon bye and bye our minds grow slowly numb

Nothing shocking this way comes,

Our words not teeth just rotten gums

Capable of nothing!
