The Mercies of the Father
Constant amazement at the daily miracles that God performs in my life assails my senses. In a way that fills me with wonder and appreciation.
As the ramblings of my mind search for a reason for these mercies, and an explanation as to why they have been afforded to someone such as I. I know that I am unworthy of the benevolence of the Father and I know just as surly that He loves me just as I am.
He has smiled on me since the day I was born. Through the years he has protected me in ways that I will not know until he tells me. He has walked beside me even when I turned my back on him; He has always been there and always will be.
He has been my guide and my comfort through a life that has been filled with ups and downs, with goods and bad, with hope and loss. A life filled with a richness that is wondrous and joyful in all things. Lessons that I’ve learned, and experiences that I have worked through. I have been given a deep respect for His love for me, and a great desire to do his will in all aspects of my life.
He has done more for us that we will ever know. And our loyalties to Him should be absolute. For without Him we are nothing.
