The Ocean, A Rhythm in Time
Balance of Life
Rhythm of Life
Restless waves come from a briney deep,
Rushing toward the distant shore.
Rise and fall in a crescendo from sleep,
Their rhythm to reach a great roar.
As bathed by waves, pale sands implore,
Returning waters, with open arms, once more.
In a cadence of the metered sounds,
An ocean's white spray, without any bounds.
As sea birds wing, up high, over head,
Great mammals of the deep, rest in their beds.
In rainbow's colors, fish all swim below,
While brisk winds swiftly, in their approval, blow.
Ocean's tides soon to rise and fall,
As a paling moon moves, above the far wall.
A mountain's ridges, line a landscape,
In their balance of life, they all take shape.
