The Ruby Apple

she plucked the ruby apple

from the enticing apple tree...

took a great big bite before

the worm had time to flee...

mmm mmm delicious!

Oh dear - memories return. Worms do not taste good. Cute, short and sweet! I'm smiling and that is worth a whole lot!

Rouillie, thanks so much for stopping by...yes this is a bit of a strange one...but then, the place from which it came can be a bit strange at times too...all in fun!

Pixienot, a smile is a wonderful gift indeed! I am glad this bad memory at least did that! Thanks!

No_Clue - A good surprise and it was found in a good poem. Enjoyed it and, for that, I thank you.

No more eating fruit in the dark for me. This was a sweet little rhyme with a distasteful amen.

Awe, Marsha, that's a definite beauty! =) I have a thing for Haiku, have you ever tried yourself in it? I think you'll do awesome job with those little ones, you've got all you need plus the twist =) Love it, really, brilliant. I'm still grinning =)
