The Undoing
I fight the urge to fall upon you
This feeling that I seem to have
Derived from the internal
It flees me and I reach -
With arms extended to you
Call upon me and need me
Your eyes
Tinting the inside with blue
The cavity surrounding
Holds a place barren
With desolate remains within
The backing away of your flawless image
Blurs in the setting sun
I go blind with rage
At our undoing
This feeling remains
Inside these sickly ribs
A heart once flowing -
Beats never again
