The Week Ahead !!!!

I hope you enjoy today's hub which is purely for fun!!

Grandchildren Ellie and Charlie are indeed coming to stay ;arriving later on today!!

Since moving away we don't see them so often but this then makes get togethers more special and where they live further up in North Wales the scenery is amazing and we spend many a happy day up there.

Another example of positives coming from a negative.

Also the school which they attend is tiny compared to the school here; there are only 24 pupils in the whole of the school.

This has also proved to be a positive as the children have a chance to do everything. Neyo, Ellie and Charlie's little brother has sung solo on stage and he loved it. Little Carmel has also started school and she is most definitely a character ;she is without a doubt the comedian of the family.

Another little brother will also make his entrance into the world in the coming two weeks or so. He is actually due on Monday but Sue has been overdue with all her children so we shall see!!

Great excitement all around.

Some people do make me angry though ;the school were given a grant to buy guitars and also to pay for the tuition.

Neyo and Carmel were too young but Ellie and Charlie love it and the tuition is carrying on through these holidays also. They are then putting on a very special show for the families to go and watch.

However it is only four children who have supported this great offer and two of these of course being Ellie and Charlie.

What is wrong with people ??

They moan there is nothing for their children to do but when they are given a wonderful offer like this they don't bother !!The world is certainly a strange place at times !!!

Now then time to carry on with this fun hub and I hope you enjoy!!!

Today a stirring familiar

Yes oh so welcome;

In great impatience

My fingers do strum.

Relaxed my stance

I feel the child within

Loving each one so dearly

Drawing from my heart .

My day did then change

Cherubs then became devils

Oh how do I cope .

Running here and there

Hair like fingers in socket

Grandchildren and I.

My day begins at 6 am

Squeals like pigs to a slaughter;

Crashing into my sleepy mind

The noise just gets louder and louder..

Bathroom resembles a boxing ring

Oh dear where can I hide?

Soaps and sprays hurled like missiles

On a mad roller coaster ride.

Breakfast time was even worse

I ask am I still sane ?

Frown lines etched forever

The dog is now dancing

And the angry cat screeches;

The parrot so loudly sings

"You are Queen of the witches."

I finally yell and I bellow

But useless the shout!!!

All shrieked with laughter

As my false teeth fell out;

Like almost a lifetime later

All fast asleep in their bed;

Oh how dearly I love them

As I kiss each sleepy head !!!

One really mad granny from Wales

Never made a dime !!!!
