The Whipping Wind
Pull Up A Seat
Waking up over looking a field of brilliant greens and oranges
Tints of reds and a splash of yellow
The stunning colors of fall
My body excited and eagerly accepting so many external changes
Internally quietly adjusting my dial
Listening to static and lots of interferance
Continually fixing
I know it can be done
I'm not sure when
I do know how
The same way
Just as I have repeated many times before
Passing disappointing and discouraging attitudes
As if they were cars on the highway
Going at their own pace
Putting my blinker on
I carefully switch lanes and exellerate
I feel free
I keep attempting many changes
Leaving the old and out dated
By the side of the road
Traveling light
Before not sure if I have made the right decision
Feeling only one thing for certain
Cramped and squished
Mentally and physically restricted
Is no way to live
Tomorrow mostly sunny
High of 49
I feel much better
Learning what I have to go through
Living with temporary moments of sadness
Makes way for new joys
Keep making discoveries
Anywhere I want to go
Over flowing with appreciation
Out of my rut
Into my groove
An unbeatable combination
Welcoming each wonderful and amazing new day
