Walk The Line
As each day rises with the sun
People struggle with a fight they have not won
Either drugs,alcohol,or some other addiction takes their body
God please save their soul
Their struggle continues with every breath
We have tried to help the only way we know
Caring and loving the way we do
You are untouchable and even though you give it your best
The years of pain and suffering follow
It is only up to you to stop and change
There are so many things in life that aren't good
This is one that can never be fully understood
I have a hard time saying this and I hope I am wrong
Each day is one more day that takes part of you away
Fight,fight with everything you have
To beat this enemy that we can not see
My support and love never seem enough
You have to know I am here
The quiet silence fills the air
I wait and wonder
I can only imagine the worst is yet to come
Life is not all about problems and the struggles we face
It is so much more
Life is about love and how we all work together to make the human race
One person is not better than another
We all have our faults
We are all in this together helping each other when in need
Stop this insanity and swollow your pride
What can I say to make you believe
We all have cuts that bleed
There is no easy way out or quick solution
You are better than this and I hope you will some day see
Family is the glue that bonds us together
Spending time with each other
Is one step in living better
Throw away the past and make your new choices
Where you don't need anyone to tell you what to do
Because you are a fighter and do what you have to
Win,loose or draw
I am behind you every step of the way
Find it in you to break your old habits
Come forward and make yourself happier than you have been
