They're Both Crying

The one who was supposed to be the last
Is now living in the past

He’s crying for the things he couldn’t do
He’s crying because she’s crying too
He’s mad that she didn’t beg him to try
He’s sad because of the reasons why

She loved him because he was a dreamer
Until she realized that he dreamed alone

The one who was supposed to be forever
Is now saying never

He’s crying because someone took his place
He’s crying because another man sees her face
He’s mad because of the way she said goodbye
He’s sad because of his empty sky

She always had a one track mind
And change was denying who she was

The one who was supposed to be a soul mate
Is now cursing fate

He’s crying because he waited too long
He’s crying because she became so strong
He’s mad because she told him a lie
He’s sad because their June became a lonely July

She decided she is worth somebody’s life
And her love doesn’t have time to wait
